Rutabaga- 2lb bag
Rutabaga is an easy-to-grow annual belonging to the brassica family. It produces a large, yellowish root that can reach 4–6 inches in diameter and is recognized by its distinctive purple shoulders. Because rutabaga requires 90–110 days to fully mature, early planting in the fall is recommended. It performs well in cool weather, making it an excellent addition to most food plot programs.
For best results, plant 2–3 pounds per acre when used in a mix, or 6 pounds per acre when planted alone. Sow seeds at a shallow depth of approximately 1/8 inch.
